ThinkHUGE, a nonprofit organization comprised of business leaders from Honduras, USA, Guatemala, El Salvador congratulates one of its Founders, Grupo Pantaleon and its real estate division Spectrum, on the groundbreaking of Synergy Industrial Park. The new park boasts a strategic location on Guatemala’s highway to the Pacific, in the city of Escuintla.
Synergy is designed to become a world-class business ecosystem that offers industrial, logistics and manufacturing solutions tailored to individual business with an emphasis on efficiency and flexibility.
The goal of the HUGE Business and Investment Council or ThinkHUGE is to contribute to the creation of the American Dream in the Central America’s Northern Triangle by generating sustainable jobs, ultimately reducing illegal immigration to the United States. We hope to facilitate at least $10 billion in private sector investments, yielding 2 million new jobs in the HUGE countries over a period of five-years. The efforts of HUGE Founders and Sponsors, including Grupo Pantaleon have already generated $4.97 billion in investments, creating 143,750 new job opportunities focused on promoting economic opportunity in the Northern Triangle.
Nearshoring has and continues to be a competitive advantage for the countries of the Central American Northern Triangle, especially as interest grows around reducing the United States’ commercial dependency on China. Synergy Industrial Park was developed because of current nearshoring trends and to satisfy the growing demands for high-quality infrastructure. Its owners are committed to the economic and social development of Guatemala and the region.
