In an effort to position the Northern Triangle as a hub for tech investments, the HUGE Business & Investment Council convened industry leaders at the “Technology and Infrastructure Summit” in San Salvador, El Salvador on July 17th.

This gathering was the perfect platform to showcase investment prospects in the high-tech sector for private enterprises, encompassing American and European 5G telecommunications, renewable energy, and the advancement of specialized workforce and infrastructure for ‘nearshoring’.

The event, co-sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), attracted participants from development banks, institutional representatives, regional government officials, and leading corporations from the United States, European Union, and the Northern Triangle of Central America. Notable attendees included Nokia, DataTrust, Oracle, Millicom, COHERSA, and Invenergy LLC.
