Dear friends and colleagues,

We are grateful for your unwavering support of our mission to create jobs and promote nearshoring through the efforts of HUGE Founders and Sponsors. Together, we have made a significant impact on individuals striving for the “American Dream at home” in the countries of the Northern Triangle of Central America. Our diligent efforts have mobilized nearly $5 billion in investments, creating 150,000 new job opportunities. We are excited to share our accomplishments and plans for 2024.

Last year, ThinkHUGE hosted an Investor Conference and MOU Signing in San Salvador, focusing on financing projects that generate jobs in the Northern Triangle region and the United States. Three HUGE Founder banks signed an MOU to further develop financial inclusion and fund strategic infrastructure projects in the region.

To effectively prepare professionals in the region for potential nearshoring-related opportunities, C-suite executives graduated from an online seminar, “Nearshoring and Sustainable Investment in the Americas” by Georgetown’s Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) and ThinkHUGE.

Finally, US and Northern Triangle companies collaborated to address the increase in textile industry investments in Honduras and the Northern Triangle. North Carolina State University’s Wilson College of Textiles secured a $2M grant from USAID to establish Hilando Oportunidades, a textile training program in northern Honduras that will train over 1,500 individuals.

In 2024, HUGE will focus on the social and environmental impact of Founders’ investments and attract more investments to the region. We aim to raise HUGE’s profile in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador, make these countries more competitive, and influence leaders in Washington DC. Additionally, we will build strategic partnerships with think tanks and business associations to remove investment obstacles and support constructive legislation. We invite you to join us in supporting job creation efforts in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, and the United States.
